The Call
8. January 2012 by admin.
Rom 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth
the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
1. To cry out in a loud voice; shout
2. to command or request to come , summon
Blue Letter Bible:
Greek word “Kaleo”
1. to call aloud, utter in a loud voice, to invite
2. to call, i.e. to name, by name, to give a name to, to bear a name or title
For instance, we call for the dog when we do not see him/her, and the dog responds. Here Rover, and her comes Rover wagging his tail.
Just because you do not see the spirit realm, but you do not see the dog either until she responds. I know you have seen the dog so you know she is there.
Well the Word of God must become that real to you also. The promises of God must be more real than the natural and as you call for the promises they will come to pass.
I do not want you to ever “wish” for something again.
WISH DEFINED: Dictionary.com
1.) To want, desire, long for
2.) To desire, to be as specified
But Biblical “wish” means “to pray to God”.
James 5:16 “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a
righteous man availeth much.”2 Cor. 13:7 “Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which
is honest, though we be as reprobates.”
WISH IN THE WORLD IS “HOPE”
Biblical wish is “prayer” –and we know prayer is answered, not hoped for.
Jer 33:3 “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” ….
When we call on God, we have it, not a 50/50 chance or worldy hope or wish for it to happen- we have it.
Stop saying:
“I wish my kids were saved”
“I wish I had money”
“I wish I was well”
GOD CALLED YOU!
He does not give up because He doesn’t see you walking in it 100%.
Ephesians 1:18 “The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of
the glory of his inheritance in the saints”
1.) He calls us “SAINTS”. Although we do not always act saintly..
Rom. 1:7 “To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the
Lord Jesus Christ.”
1 Cor. 1:2 “Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with
all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their’s and our’s:”
We respond to the call.
Phil.3:14 “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
I like this one: He is not ashamed to call us “BRETHREN”
Heb 2:11 “For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,”
Instead of wishing, begin to “CALL it done – as the WORD says”
Remember the Blue Letter Bible definition:
to call by, to give a name to:
Saved –I call you saved
Healed – I call you healed
..etc
ALSO
To cry with loud voice –Command
We must quit hoping and wishing and start exercise our authority…
John 11:38-44 “38Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
39Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.
40Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
41Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
42And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
43And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
44And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them,
Loose him, and let him go.”
John 12:17 specifically REFERS TO this as THE CALL
John 12:17 “The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.”
THIS WAS A CALL-
What if Jesus had stood there and said, “I wish he had not of died…”
1 Tim. 6:12 “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a
good profession before many witnesses.”
2 Thess. 1:11 “Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good
pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:”
1 Thess. 5:24 “Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.”
DON’T CALL MAN COMMON OR UNCLEAN…CALL HIM WHAT GOD SAYS.
Acts 10:9-28 “ 9On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to
pray about the sixth hour:
10And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,
11And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:
12Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
13And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.
14But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.
15And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
16This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.
17Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon’s house, and stood before the gate,
18And called, and asked whether Simon, which was surnamed Peter, were lodged there.
19While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.
20Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them.
21Then Peter went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is the cause wherefore ye are come?
22And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by an holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee.
23Then called he them in, and lodged them. And on the morrow Peter went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him.
24And the morrow after they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited for them, and he had called together his kinsmen and near friends.
25And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.
26But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.
27And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were come together.
28And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God
hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.”
CLOSE:
GOD CALLED US OUT OF DARKNESS
1 Pet. 2:9 “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises
of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;”

THE EFFECT OF THE CROSS
24. April 2011 by admin.
John 2:18-22 18Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
21 But he spake of the temple of his body.
22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and
the word which Jesus had said.
The Cross had and has an effect!
1 Cor 1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
It was not just an ordinary man dying a horrible death on a tree. There was and is a far reaching effect, in fact, eternal!
1 Cor 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
There is power at the cross.
Power to forgive your sins!
Matt 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Col 1:13-22 13Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
Col 2:13-15 13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
Lost man lives under the wrath of God.
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
The phrase “wrath of God” is only mentioned 10 times in the entire Bible. And 5 of them are found in the book of Revelation.
So the love of God and goodness of God mentioned so many more times than wrath, so do not get a wrong picture of God…
John 12:47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
The cross is His provision out of wrath!
Rom 5:6-21 6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
He has actually not only saved man but has postponed judgement of rebellious man for a season.
Acts 17:24-31 24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
25 Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.
30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
The disobedient have God’s judgement delayed although satan is still god of this world system and unsaved man lives under the curse.
Eph 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Col 3:6 For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
Heb 10:26-29 26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
The cross has prevented this, made a way for us to live in victory!
Gal 6:14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
God did not leave Him in the grave!
Acts 2:22-36 22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
This means:
The power of the cross to free us from sin
The power of the resurrection for a new creation
2 Cor 5:14-21 14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
It took God as much or more effort to make this new creation as the first creation that was tainted by Adam. He made a new creation that is undefiled, incorruptible for you and I to enjoy.
1 Pet 1:3-4 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
Jesus is Lord!

FAITH VS. COMPARISON
13. March 2011 by admin.
2 Cor 10:12-18 AMP 12Not that we [have the audacity to] venture to class or [even to] compare ourselves with some who exalt and furnish
testimonials for themselves! However, when they measure themselves with themselves and compare themselves with one another, they are without
understanding and behave unwisely.
13We, on the other hand, will not boast beyond our legitimate province and proper limit, but will keep within the limits [of our commission
which] God has allotted us as our measuring line and which reaches and includes even you.
14For we are not overstepping the limits of our province and stretching beyond our ability to reach, as though we reached not
(had no legitimate mission) to you, for we were [the very first] to come even as far as to you with the good news (the Gospel) of Christ.
15We do not boast therefore, beyond our proper limit, over other men’s labors, but we have the hope and confident expectation that as
your faith continues to grow, our field among you may be greatly enlarged, still within the limits of our commission,
16So that [we may even] preach the Gospel in lands [lying] beyond you, without making a boast of work already done in another [man’s]
sphere of activity [before we came on the scene].
17However, let him who boasts and glories boast and glory in the Lord.
18For [it is] not [the man] who praises and commends himself who is approved and accepted, but [it is the person] whom the Lord accredits
and commends.
When we compare ourselves to others, it produces either exaltation, pride, puffed up, or it produces discouragement, one of the two.
We must compare ourselves to the Word and not to others or things.
1 Cor 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing
spiritual things with spiritual.
Comparing spiritual with spiritual…
Is 46:5-6 5To whom will ye liken me, and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be like?
6They lavish gold out of the bag, and weigh silver in the balance, and hire a goldsmith; and he maketh it a god: they fall down, yea,
they worship.
God is the plumb line, He cannot be compared to anyone or anything He is so great and perfect, yet when we make graven images, give
comparison to others or things around us, we are setting them up as the idols or graven images instead of keeping God as our focus.
Pr 3:13-15 13Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
14For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.
15She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.
Remember our beginning scripture 2 Cor 10:12, comparing ourselves to others is unwise and without understanding, while here it states
in Proverbs that to search and obtain wisdom, the Word of God, and understanding of it, brings happiness and is better than gold or
silver, which represents our money.
Stay in faith and not walk by our sight, comparing ourselves to natural things instead of the Word of God.
God is the plumb line, the standard to compare, there is none else.
Ps 89:6 For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD?
When we compare ourselves to anything or anyone other than the Word, we are walking by sight and not by faith.
2 Cor 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
Comparison to others destroys your faith walk.
Spiritual growth is living by faith not being moved by what we see.
Some examples:
Mark 12.41-44 41And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were
rich cast in much.
42And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.
43And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they
which have cast into the treasury:
44For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.
Look at this from the poor widows perspective, if she had of compared herself to the rich people, she would not have given her 2 mites,
she would have reasoned that it was of no worth compared to their large amounts.
But she caught the attention of the Master!
John 21:20-21 17He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the
third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him,
Feed my sheep.
18Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdest thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt
be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.
19This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.
20Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord,
which is he that betrayeth thee?
21Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?
Peter had some sobering news regarding how he would glorify Jesus in his death and so he looks at John, and then asks Jesus, what
about this man????
We are all very important, we are chosen by God, anointed, Appointed, and called individually, each to his own place.
1 Cor 12:12-27 12For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so
also is Christ.
13For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all
made to drink into one Spirit.
14For the body is not one member, but many.
15If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
16And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
17If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
18But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
19And if they were all one member, where were the body?
20But now are they many members, yet but one body.
21And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
22Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
23And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely
parts have more abundant comeliness.
24For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked.
25That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
26And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
27Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
We are all needed and each has a distinct calling and function from God. Let God be God and you pursue His call for you and quit
looking (comparing yourself) to others.
Here are some ways it creeps in:
1. You see a man testify he gives 90% and keeps 10% for himself:
If you compare yourself to that you may think you can do it too just by seeing him, but if the Lord did not tell you to, you will find
yourself in trouble. Let me clarify, it is honorable to give to God, no question about that, but you must do it by revelation based on
the Word of God and not because you see, and are inspired, by someone else walking in their calling.
2. You hear one speaking in a fluent prayer language:
You might say to yourself, if you are comparing, why do they have a fluent language and I only have a few syllables? Thus you become
discouraged.
When actually it is a heavenly language and it is up to God how it sounds, not by our natural minds to try to analyze it or approve or
dissapprove it. A few syllables may be saying just as much in the one language as many in another.
3. As pastors, ministers, some places the mode of transportation is walking, others it is by mule or beast, others it is by bicycle, others
it is by car and some even by airplane: You cannot compare yourself to those, you stay with the Word doing what God told you to do and He
will give the increase in ways your physical eyes may not see.
Gal 3:1-3 1 foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been
evidently set forth, crucified among you?
2This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
3Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
Are we so foolish having begun in the spirit, by being saved, that we think we can mature by going back to the flesh, our sight and feelings?
In Matt 25 starting with verse 14 we see the parable of the talents. Each was given by Gods plan, the first 5, the second 2 and the
third 1. We learn from this that God appoints to each one what He wants and that person is supposed to do something with whatever, ever
how many, he has.
Each were supposed to increase and so are you. God’s plan for you is to increase. You are destined to do great things for God!
Mark 4:30-32 30And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?
31It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:
32But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air
may lodge under the shadow of it.
The key is this:
This is a faith walk. It is not as the world walks, it is living in the Kingdom!
John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
Always ask yourself, what you are comparing yourself too…the Word of God or someone or something else. You must stay with the Word.
2 Cor 10:3-7a 3For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every
thought to the obedience of Christ;
6And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
7Do ye look on things after the outward appearance?
Stay in faith and not what you see. This too will pass.
Blessings to you. Please watch the video of this message below and if you received a blessing please pass it along to others who may need
to hear it. I pray you are encouraged to be all you can be for the Lord.

GOD HAS ALREADY DONE IT
6. March 2011 by admin.
By: Pastor James Anderson
GOD HAS ALREADY BLESSED US:
God have already been divinely blessed.
The word divinely refers heavenliest or God-given.
The word blessed refers to being empowered to succeed.
God has already empowered every believer with every spiritual empowerment or every spiritual blessing in heaven that is necessary for us to
succeed. (Ephesians 1:3-6)

NOTE: Paul expressed here, that as a believers we have in our possession every benefit of the Atonement. We have the benefit of being
reconciled back to Father God, the benefit of being delivered, the benefit of healing, the benefit of prosperity, and the benefit of peace.
Through Christ, we have all these benefits available to us, right now. All we have to do is receive them by faith, for they are ours now.
Now, when Paul said that “God has blessed us with every spiritual blessings in the heavenly places”, he was referring to the truth, that you
and I, as believers have been blessed with every blessing in heaven. Listen to verse 3 in The Living Bible, it reads, “How we praise God the
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every blessing in heaven because we belong to him.”
Every blessing that heaven possesses has been given to us through Christ Jesus.
Listen, because we are in Christ, whatever He has is ours, including His righteousness, His resources, His privileges, His position, and His power.
(1 Corinthians 3:22-23)
God has appointed His son Jesus to be heir of all things. (Heb. 1:2) Everyone of us who is born again is a child of God and has
received by divine grace the full inheritance that Christ received. (Rom. 8:14-17)
NOTE: Paul used the method of adoption to illustrate the believer’s new relationship with God.
In the Roman culture, the adopted person lost all rights in his old family and gained all the rights of a legitimate child in his new family. He
became a full heir to his new father’s estate.
Likewise, when a person becomes a Christian, he or she becomes a full heir, and gains all the privileges and responsibilities of a child in
God’s family.
Now, one of these outstanding privileges that we gain is to be led by the spirit of God. (v. 14)
Now, there may be times when we do not always feel as though we belong to God, but that is where the Holy Spirit comes in, He is our witness
that we do belong to the Father God.
The Holy Spirit’s, inward presence identifies with our spirit, reminding us of who we are and whose we are and also encouraging us with God’s
love. (Rom. 5:5). “We are already blessed”
Now, because we are in Christ, we are partakers of God’s divine nature and power that enables us to live godly lives. (2 Pet. 1:2-4)
NOTE: The power to lead a godly life comes from God. God allows us to partake of His divine nature and power, in order to keep us from sin
and to help us live for Him.
Now, the great and precious promises that Peter mentioned in verse 4, refers to the numerous offers of divine provision found in the Word
of God. These promises are resources that we can draw upon, for sustaining help. Because we are in Christ, we can, through these promises,
draw our life-giving strength from Him.
Receiving Christ as Lord of our lives is the beginning of life with Christ. However, we must also continue to follow His leadership, by being
rooted, built up, and established in the faith. (Col.2:6-7)
NOTE: Now, in order for us to understand the concept of what’s being taught here, Paul used the illustrations of plants drawing their
nourishment from the soil, through their roots.
Just as plants draw nourishment from the soil through their roots, so, we are to draw our life-giving strength from Christ, through faith.
Listen to these verses from The Living Bible, (Col.2:6-7)
(6)And just as you trusted Christ to save you, trust Him too, for each day’s problems, live in vital union with Him (7)Let your roots grow
down into Him and draw up nourishment from Him. See that you go on growing in the Lord, and become strong and vigorous in the truth you were
taught. Let your lives overflow with joy and thanksgiving for all He has done.
Listen, Christ has already provided, through His sacrifice, everything we need for our daily living. All we have to do is, appropriate it, or
take it for ourselves, by faith.
Through Christ and His promises, we have already escaped the corruption that is in the world in which satan uses to try and trap us.
God has already blessed us, we are healed and prosperous and we have been set free from the power of sin (Rom 8:2)
Listen, through Christ’s sacrifice, the blessing of God has been made available to all who will believe. (Gal. 3:13-14)
NOTE: When we receive Christ, we receive His Spirit (Gal. 4:6), and thereby, the blessing on our lives. Through, Christ Jesus, we are
already blessed!

OVERCOMING THE SIN OF PRIDE (Feb. 27,2011)
27. February 2011 by admin.
17But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and mine eye Pride rejects the authority, the Lordship, of Jesus the Word of God. Pride is a devil! And the Devil comes only to steal, kill and destroy, so pride comes in your life to steal, kill and destroy your victory. John 10:10A The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: Because of the origin of pride, coming from within us, many times it goes unchecked in the lives of believers. They think it is themselves, Pride comes from within: Mark 7:20-23 20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. 21For from within, Thus we call it many names, personalities, it’s just me, temperment, etc. Allow the convicting power of the Holy Ghost to take the Sword of the Word and cut it out of your soul realm so you can walk in the victory God has ordained for you. This is something we all have to work at, it does not come naturally. Let’s define pride: From the Blue Letter Bible: Insolence, Presumptuousness, Arrogance, Exaltation
From the Dictionary: 1) A high opinion of ones own dignity, importance, merit, or superiority, whether as cherished in the mind or as displayed in conduct. 2) The state or feeling of being proud From Dakes: Re “proud” Rom 1:30 To induldge in pride, or self gratulation, be exalted, elated, glory in self, Look at this example in Isaiah 3:16 Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with The Amplified: Moreover, the Lord said, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty and walk with outstretched necks and with New International Version: The LORD says, Pride is all about self, getting attention, being the attention… Dakes continued: Undue sense of superiority, unnatural self esteem, arrogance, wishing all men to receive their sayings as oracles. God hates it! Prov. 6:17 AMP A proud look [the spirit that makes one overestimate himself and underestimate others], a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, It is sin, plain and simple, pride is sin: Prov 21:4 An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin. God resist the proud: Jas 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 1 Pet 5:5 AMP Likewise, you who are younger and of lesser rank, be subject to the elders (the ministers and spiritual guides Pride is a thief! It steals your victory and makes you think you are justified in it. Matt 11: 1-6 1And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, he departed thence to Blessed is he who is not off-ended in Jesus… Pride questions God, His Word, His Authority, John 21:21-22 21Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? 22Jesus saith unto him, If I will Pride masquerades itself in many forms, mostly in your thought life, but thoughts become actions. Ezek 7:10 Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded. Here are some facts about pride: Pride gets its feelings hurt. Pride is having to have its own way. Pride is jealous.
Pride is resentful if anyone else gets recognition.
Pride gets offended if not recognized.
Matt 15:10-12 10And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: 11Not that which goeth into the mouth Pride always wants to be in the lead.
Pride is always wanting to be in the spotlight.
Pride is anger.
Prov 21:24 AMP The proud and haughty man–Scoffer is his name–deals and acts with overbearing pride.
Prov 21:24 Proud and haughty scorner is his name, who dealeth in proud wrath. (anger)
Pride blames God:
Matt 13:21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by Pride makes excuses for God.
God does not need to be excused, if something is not as it seems in the Word in our lives, it is not Gods fault, it is ours, and He can take care of Pride questions God.
1 Ti 6:4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, Pride asks God why Him and not me???
Mark 4:17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the We must train ourselves, our thoughts, to believe God and His Word instead of our abilities and efforts to do it.
Prov 28:25 He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat.
Pride does not spend time in prayer or the Word, it is too busy with self…
Ps 10:4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
Look at these Bibical facts on Pride:
Prov 11:2 When pride cometh, then cometh shame:
Prov 13:10 Only by pride cometh contention:
Prov 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
Prov 29.23 A man’s pride shall bring him low:
1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, The way out:
James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

Just Say No
13. February 2011 by admin.
How to walk in your divine health.
We talked about sin and sickness being together. We showed you scriptures that sin and sickness are tired together and we showed you
that when Jesus dealt with the sin problem He also dealt with the sickness problem.
Thus if you are saved, then you are healed. The same faith that saved you is the same faith that heals you.
Thus in this lesson we are going to show you the “how to” of walking in it.
You must say no to sickness just like you say no to sin now that you are saved.
You are saved but you still have to say o to sin when you are tempted correct? Well, you must say no to sickness when it
tempts you also. It is the same.
Heb 10:38-39 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
We must live by faith not by sight or feelings. This is a faith walk.
Let me preface this by reading this scripture from the amplified Bible.
Prov. 18:9 He who is loose and slack in his work is brother to him who is a destroyer and [he who does not use his endeavors to
heal himself is brother to him who commits suicide.]
That last part of that scripture is taken from the Septuagint and it says God wants you well. No matter how you get well, He wants
you out of pain and sickness. Here I am just trying to teach you a higher way, the way of faith.
Is 54:17A No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper;
Although we are thankful no weapon formed against us will prosper. We also see that weapons will be formed against us. Sickness
and disease will be formed against us while we live on this sin cursed earth. But they will not prosper if we walk by faith.
Here are 4 things you must do to walk in Divine Health:
1. You must be fully persuaded it is your right to be healthy.
Rom 4:16-22 16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the
seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
17(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead,
and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
18Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
19And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb:
20He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
21And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
22And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
It is a law of the spirit that you believe in your heart and then you say with your mouth, you are saved.
Rom 10:9-10 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised
him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Meditation of the Word gets it into your heart even though your body and mind are warring against it.
Pr 4:20-22 20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
21Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
22For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
James 3:3-8 3Behold, we put bits in the horses’ mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.
4Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm,
whithersoever the governor listeth.
5Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
6And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth
on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
7For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
8But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
2. You must Get and keep fear out.
1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not
made perfect in love.
3. You must divorce yourself from your feelings.
2 cor 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
4. Lastly, and possibly most important, and certainly most overlooked by Christians, Speak to the mountain.
Ex 14:15-16 15 And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:
16But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground
through the midst of the sea.
Quit asking God to do something He has already done! Quit crying and calling out to Him to fix something He gave you authority to fix with your Tongue!
Speak to the sickness, the pain, the disease in your body and command it to leave. Do it till it goes! Use your authority of the Name of Jesus!
Mark 11:22-23 22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall
not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
The results are the miraculous.
Ps 105:37
He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
The Children of Israel came out of Egypt in the masses with out sickness or disease. Not one feeble one amoung them!!! Hallelujah!!!
What a miracle service that must have been.
Remember this:
2 Cor 1:20
For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
My prayer for you:
3 John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Watch the video if you have time. If this was a blessing to you, please pass it on to other loved ones you care about who might benefit from it as well.

So Great Salvation
2. February 2011 by admin.
Heb 2.3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
1 John 3.8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
There is a difference in the world and Christians, being saved and not, being a christian or not.
Ex 8.22-23 22And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.
23And I will put a division between my people and thy people: to morrow shall this sign be.
Ex 9.4 And the LORD shall sever between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt: and there shall nothing die of all that is the children’s of Israel.
Ex 9.26 Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was there no hail.
Ex 11.7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.
That is Old Covenant and we have a better Covenant than that. Here it is in the New Covenant.
1 John 5.18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
The church should not be sick. The world gets sick but we are different…protected…But it is according to what we believe.
Eph 1.19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
Matt 9.27-30 27And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou son of David, have mercy on us.
28And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
29Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
30And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.
Salvation includes health, it is our right, our possession.
Even in the Old Covenant God’s people are immune from sickness:
Ex 15.26 AAT “If you will heed the injunction of the LORD your God,” he said, “and do what is right in his eyes, and pay attention to his commands, and observe all his statutes, I will inflict none of the diseases on you which I inflicted on the Egyptians; for I, the LORD, make you immune to them.”
The same faith that saved you healed you!
Ps 103.1-3 1Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Don’t forget His benefits…so great salvation! He came to destroy the works…sicknesses… of the devil.
Is 53.4-5 4Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
The Amplified version translates that word grief as sickness…that is what that word means in Hebrew also…sicknesses.
We see confirmation Jesus was referring to salvation and to physical health in this next verse in Matthew.
Matt 8.16-17 16When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: 17That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
Sin and sickness are tied together. We see this this Scripture.
John 5.14 14Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
After Jesus had healed him he gave him this warning…go and sin no more or a worse thing will come on you.
Why then does the church get sick and die like the world? If we are healed the same as saved, why do we not experience it more?
Most churches teach, Bible believing churches anyway, a great salvation from hell message. We are well taught in this area and have faith for it. But few teach the divine health message the same way as salvation. Many teach it is Gods will to afflict you to teach you, many teach that we live in the world so we may get sick, etc. But if we would specialize in faith for healing like faith for salvation just think how the church would be shining today!
The root is a lack of knowledge. This is why the church looks like the world.
Hos 4.6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Also there is the failure to act upon the word in faith.
James 2.17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
Again in..
James 2.26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
Consider this:
Rom 6.23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Adam found that out..
Gen 2.17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Sickness, or death, as sickness is death working, just not completed, is tied directly to sin.
So consider this, you are a Christian, you are forgiven, you are not a sinner anymore, you are saved, so you no longer are paid by satan, your wages are no longer death…sickness or disease because those wages were the lost peoples wages.
There is a difference between the Christian and the world!
Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil!
Acts 10.38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Jesus himself said satan has nothing in him. Now we are in Him, so satan has nothing in us either!
John 14.30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
Thus we are free in Jesus. No longer paid satans wages, we are free!
John 8.36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
Sin no longer reigns over you.
Rom 6.14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
This no wages of sin anymore for us! Therefore no sickness can dwell in us. We are temples of the Holy Ghost and there is no room for anything else!
1 Cor 15. 56-57 56The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Fruits…life or death
Rom 7.4-6 4Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. 5For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. 6But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
Rom 8.1-2 1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
There is a higher law than sin and death, Jesus paid for it for us and showed it to us. No more sin, no more sickness, no more death.
So great salvation. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil!
Heb 8.10-12 10For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. 12For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
A new Covenant. Sin no more remembered! No more wages of sin…no more sickness…no more death working in my body.
Thank you Lord for forgiving my sins and setting me free.
Look at this last passage.
Luke 7. 41-47 41There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. 42And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? 43Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged. 44And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head. 45Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. 46My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment. 47Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
Realize what great salvation He has wrought for you and you will love him more and thank Him the rest of your days on earth.
I challenge you to meditate on these scriptures over and over. Watch the video below if you have time. Consider who you are in Christ, take your stand, tell the devil no more sickness in your life. You are a temple of the Holy Spirit and satan has no place in you. Give him the glory He is due today!
Then consider forwarding this message to those you love and care about so they may know this freedom in Christ also. Till next week.
Love you!

Controlling Your Thoughts 01-30-2011
30. January 2011 by admin.
1 Cor 2.9-16 9But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.
It takes the Word of God to distinguish between our thoughts and God’s thoughts.
Heb 4.12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
We must renew our minds:
1 Cor 13.11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
Rom 12. 1-2 1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
You can control your meditations, continual thoughts, but not the initial thoughts. Although you can greatly limit the initial thoughts by your surroundings:
Isaiah 26. 3-4 3Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. 4Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
Rom 8.5-6 5For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Control of your thoughts comes from choices and what you choose to entertain.
Because they were judging, forming thoughts , by what they saw.
Jas 2.4 Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?
God has a different way of thinking:
Is 55.8-9 8
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Acs 26.8 Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should raise the dead?
Satan blinds peoples minds and thus controls their thoughts.
2 Cor 4.4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
This is only the beginning, real extreme cases become demon possessed by their thoughts.
Luke 8.26-36 Verse 35 emphasis, right mind. 26And they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is over against Galilee. 27And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs. 28When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not.
29(For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.) 30And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him. 31And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep. 32And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them. 33Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked.
34When they that fed them saw what was done, they fled, and went and told it in the city and in the country. 35Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid. 36They also which saw it told them by what means he that was possessed of the devils was healed.
Thoughts are very important because they become actions:
Heb 11.15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
If you are mindful, your mind is full of old habits, desires, and ways, you will have opportunity to succumb to it.
We see thoughts cause actions with Abraham, Abimelich and Sarah.
Gen 20.11 And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God is not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife’s sake.
God promised us a sound mind.
2 Tim 1.7 AMP For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.
Double minded brings instability.
Jas 1.8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
It is a choice:
Jer 4.14 O Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts lodge within thee?
Six Steps to Cntrol your thoughts:
1. REPENT: Acts 8.22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.
2. LOVE THE LORD: Lu 10.27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
3. REFUSE DOUBT: Lu 12.29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
4. WALK BY WORD: Eph 4.17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
5. CLEANSE YOUR HEART: Jas 4.8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
6. TAKE NO THOUGHT: Matt 6.25-34 25Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Close:
Pr 30.32
If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, lay thine hand upon thy mouth.
Do not take the thought by saying it, cover your mouth before you say an evil thought and you will see your life change.

The Name of Jesus 01-23-2011
23. January 2011 by admin.
Phil 2.5-11 5Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
The Name of Jesus is above every name in 3 worlds, Heaven, Earth and Hell.
The Name of the Lord was powerful in the Old Testament too.
1 Sam 17.38-51 38And Saul armed David with his armour, and he put an helmet of brass upon his head; also he armed him with a coat of mail.
39And David girded his sword upon his armour, and he assayed to go; for he had not proved it. And David said unto Saul, I cannot go with these; for I have not proved them. And David put them off him.
40And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd’s bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine.
41And the Philistine came on and drew near unto David; and the man that bare the shield went before him.
42And when the Philistine looked about, and saw David, he disdained him: for he was but a youth, and ruddy, and of a fair countenance.
43And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.
44And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field.
45Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.
46This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
47And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD’s, and he will give you into our hands.
48And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came, and drew nigh to meet David, that David hastened, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.
49And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth.
50So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.
51Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith.
And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they fled.
The Name of Jesus has been given to us. We now have “power of attorney” to use that Name for whatever we need, in order to glorify God.
John 14.13-14 13And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
Again in John 16.23-24 23And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name,
he will give it you.
24Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
It is according to how much you believe it. You must practice using that Name in faith, no excuses, just believe, and according to your faith you will have it.
He promised and He provided through the courts of Heaven, you now have His Name for whatever you need.
What is in a name? Well a lot is in a name. When you go to the store you pay more for the name brand….why, because it has a history, a record so to speak.
Well Jesus Name is above every Name and it has the best record, a spotless record, all creations record!!! There is power in that Name.
The same way when you use that Name, satan knows what is in that Name. An example is when you tell a child not to do something and the child does it anyway.
So you spank the child and then the next time you tell him don’t do something, he responds because he remembers the spanking he got the last time.
Well satan was whipped at the cross! So when you use the Name of Jesus on him, he remembers how he was whipped and utterly defeated, and he knows he has
to respond. It is according to whether you believe he has to respond or not, because he knows he has to, but do you?
Col 2.15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
Eph 1.19-23 19And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
We have the victory because of what Jesus did for us! We have been given that Name that is above every Name to us for the glory of God on earth. Now
begin to use it, when the name of cancer comes your way, use the name above every Name! When the name of lack comes your way, use that Name on it! When the
name of depression, addiction, defeat, fear or whatever comes this week, begin to use that Name and walk in the victory His blood bought for you!
Blessings

Benefits of Salvation (1-9-11)
9. January 2011 by admin.
Text: Psalm 68.19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.Salvation as defined by Strong’s: SoteriaDeliverancePreservationSafety
Deliverance from molestation of enemies
Used 40 times in KJV as Salvation; once as Be Saved; once as deliverance; once as health; once as saving.
As confirmed in the Scriptures:Psalm 27.1The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?Psalm 37.39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.
Psalm 62.2,6,7 2He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
6He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
7In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
God did it, not us! It is by Grace through Faith:
Titus 2.11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
2 Chron 20.17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah
and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.
God chose you to receive…
2 Thess 2.13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the
beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
1) Sanctification of the Spirit
2) Belief of Truth
It is a work of grace received by faith, set apart by the Spirit, received by faith in the truth of the Word.
John 15.16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that
your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
The Legal Side of Salvation:
1.) Sanctification of the Spirit:
Gods ultimate goal was a new creation, one that is in fellowship with Him through a love relationship.
2 Cor 5.14-21 14For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
15And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
16Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Creature is defined as creation also.
Salvation is in His Name only:
Acts 4.8-12 8Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,
9If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;
10Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
11This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
12Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
He is the Firstborn of every creature…some translations say Firstborn of all creation…
Col 1.12-23 12Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
15Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
16For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or
principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
18And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
19For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
20And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things
in heaven.
21And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
22In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
23If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to
every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
Not by works but by a new creation God did…
Gal 6.15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
God did it! Because by one man sin entered, you were born a sinner and it was not even your fault, you were born a subject of satan, but God intervened…
Rom 5.6-19 6For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
12Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
13(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
15But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
16And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
17For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
The Vital Side:
2.) Belief of the truth: This is our part, what we do to receive all the grace God has provided us in salvation:
Remember the scripture 2 Thess 2.13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the
beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
Rom 1.16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first,
and also to the Greek.
Eph 1.13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that
ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
The Word is Truth:2 Tim 3.15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith
which is in Christ Jesus.Heb 5.9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
I can now say… Is 12.3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.Ps 51.12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.Do we really believe this???Do we fear death???
Do we prioritize our ministry of reconciliation??
Consider these Scriptures:Heb 2.3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto
us by them that heard him;Phil 2.12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your
own salvation with fear and trembling.
Rom 13.11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
But always remember this!
1 Thess 5.9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
Hallelujah! Enjoy your Salvation!!!
